At that time, women wore petticoats underneath the dresses (dresses were usually made without lining), and the garter was sometimes attached to this petticoat, sometimes an item worn on top. When I said bras + panties + petticoat + garter + stockings, women's underwear was getting so crowded that they created panties with garter strings. Since the color of socks was deemed as obligatory, it was a blessing not to dress in layers, especially in hot weather.

Pantyhose stockings were invented later, also to "lighten underwear". but they were so expensive that only rich people could buy them, and those who could not afford it continued to use the old-fashioned method of "fastening my own socks". Peheeey, who would say that the turnaround will turn around, the pantyhose will fall and the garter will become a luxury, a special passion ?!

Every now and then, I think the man who invented this pantyhose cursed a lot. But it is normal for women to find this invention quite practical. Because it is easier to wear and take off, it is much cheaper and has plenty of variety. unfortunately, if you want to use suspenders right now, it is difficult to find a suitable suspenders. Most of them are only for ornamental purposes, but for you to use in daily life, they are made of a fabric that does not show itself under the fabrics (preferably a thin and slippery fabric such as satin, jersey), does not slip down your waist (because the purpose is to hold the socks, not to go with them!) you need a garter. Whereas, the garter is now seen as a "fantasy element", so black, burgundy and layered lace types are predominant. come wear it under the white skirt!

Let's say you found the garter, it doesn't end with that. Since it is easy and cheap to wear (does not require to buy a garter), garter stockings with silicone bands on the upper side are surrounded by garter stockings, which cannot be worn on the garter, because the upper side is not fabric, and you cannot squeeze the silicone instead of the garter. If you can find garter socks in between, these are only black and tan color, a pair of really beautiful ones is not less than 40 Euro, and most of them are without toes, when you first wear them with closed shoes, they throw them from their nose and run away. And indeed, there are various garter stockings in foreign brands - I think because there are women abroad who still use them with the habit and elegance of their youth - they also produce thick mousse socks so that you can wear them in winter. Some Italian brands even sell garter stockings for winter, with very elegant patterns that will not be apparent but blended enough wool to keep you warm. But of course very high price...

Finally, if suspenders are to be worn, you must have at least three petticoats and / or petticoats in the closet: tan, black and white. because the garter ropes reveal themselves under light colored or tight clothing. Since a human child who does not wear pantyhose due to the traces on the waist will not want those marks, it may be necessary to wear a lining. But silk satin petticoats are beautiful, elegant underwear items, just like the garter, they make people love themselves easily. The dress worn on both slippery fabric does not make a pot, does not gather on your legs as you walk, because it does not rub against the socks, the dress stays on you properly, if the season is winter, the most elegant alternative to combed undershirts are these silk / satin petticoats.

Consequently, this elegant apparatus is not easy to wear, simple and inexpensive. You need to pour money separately for himself, for his socks, and for lining under the dress. Quality things are usually expensive, but when it comes to wearing something with good manners, one should avoid things that seem cheap anyway - in a bad sense. But if these issues are taken into consideration, I think garter and garter stockings are a more practical and beautiful alternative than pantyhose. Do not be lazy, wear, dress.
